I cuscinetti a contatto angolare possiedono piste ad anello interno ed esterno che vengono spostate l’una rispetto all’altra in direzione dell'asse del cuscinetto. Questa struttura asimmetrica consente a questo tipo di cuscinetto di supportare carichi combinati o forze radiali e assiali contemporaneamente. I cuscinetti a contatto angolare sono disponibili sia a struttura aperta che sigillata e vengono utilizzati, ad esempio, in ventole, compressori e turbine. Esempi di cuscinetti a contatto angolare comunemente utilizzati sono le serie 7200 e 7300.
