The RNNU4924M P51 Deutsche Kugellager Fabrik is a double-row cylindrical roller bearing without an inner ring. This bearing type is suitable for applications where the shaft has a hardened and polished raceway. The absence of an inner ring allows for a larger shaft diameter for stronger, stiffer constructions. Additionally, the possible axial displacement of the shaft relative to the housing is only limited by the width of the raceway on the shaft. The bearing is equipped with a cage that prevents the cylindrical rollers from coming into contact with each other. This design allows for controlled movement of the rolling elements.
