The KRV32-X-PP-A INA is a cam follower with needle rollers. These rolling elements combine high load capacity with a compact design. Cam followers are designed for use with various types of tracks. Thanks to a thick-walled outer ring, they can withstand high radial loads. Instead of an inner ring, they feature a solid, threaded stud, enabling easy mounting. Axial loads due to alignment errors or misalignment can be absorbed in both directions. They are not mounted in a housing bore, but a flat (counter) track provides support.
The KRV32-X-PP-A INA has a full complement design. The absence of a cage allows for a greater number of rolling elements, making this cam follower radially highly loadable. Full complement cam followers are also more shock-resistant than cam followers with a cage. However, the maximum rotational speed is lower than that of caged variants. Common applications of cam followers include conveyor systems, linear guidance systems, and cam mechanisms.
