Product description
The B71920-C-T-P4S-UM FAG is a classic spindle bearing with standardized dimensions and large steel balls. This bearing type combines high load carrying capacity with high rigidity and is suitable for medium speed applications.
FAG spindle bearings are single-row, angular contact ball bearings that cannot be dismantled. They have solid inner and outer rings as well as ball-and-cage assemblies with solid window cages. Due to their extremely tight tolerances, they are particularly suitable for applications that require high guidance accuracy and suitability for high speeds. Spindle bearings are commonly used for main spindles in machine tools.
In addition, FAG spindle bearings are designed as universal bearings. Universal bearings with the same deviation in inner ring bore and outer diameter can be combined for use in different arrangements. For example, when the load capacity of a single bearing is insufficient, two matching bearings can be used in a tandem arrangement to support axial loads in one direction only. In order to support axial loads in both directions as well as moments, O or X arrangements are good solutions.
