The 3311-BD-XL-2HRS-TVH FAG is a double row angular contact ball bearing with solid inner- and outer rings. The design of this bearing type resembles two single row angular contact ball bearings in O-arrangement but is slightly narrower. Also, the contact angle and the design of the bearing rings are different. double row angular contact ball bearings can support high radial forces and axial forces in both directions. The greater the contact angle, the greater the axial load capacity of the bearing.
The 3311-BD-XL-2HRS-TVH FAG is an X-life bearing. X-life bearings with their special internal construction provide greater performance than normal angular contact ball bearings. Contact surfaces, steel grade and rolling bodies are of a higher quality. X-life bearings combine a higher load capacity with a longer service life. The bearings generate less heat and higher speeds are possible. Finally, X-life bearings have a longer maintenance interval than normal angular contact ball bearings.
