ABF Motors opens new warehouse

ABF has built a new 2,000 m2 warehouse for its youngest division, ABF Motors. Due to the strong growth since the start of the wholesale in electric motors in 2012, there was need for extra storage and distribution space.

The warehouse, with 500 pallet places, was fitted with electric roller doors, an environmentally friendly heating system and LED lighting. “We feel it is important to create a pleasant workplace for our employees,” says Ben van Oosterhout. That’s why the warehouse was supplied with plenty of natural outdoor light. As a result, translucent panels were fitted in the roof.

“We also improved in efficiency in the processing of our orders,” said Van Oosterhout. Every order (up to 30 kg) placed before 17h59 and shipped with UPS, is dispatched by ABF Motors the same working day. “That is our promise to our customers. Our new warehouse contributes further to this.”
